Farid Affandi

Farid Affandi is a Professional Accountant (ACCA). His key ability is to successfully implement and manage new accounting systems and procedures.

He is very well versed with IFRS/MFRS standards due to his experienced working with various MNCs in Malaysia and abroad such as IBM, BHP Billiton, USG Boral and he was Head of Technical Accounting for Maybank Group. 

Farid is a member of Malaysian Accounting Standards Board (MASB) Working Group (WG 61 & WG 70) which is responsible for providing industry accounting view in IFRS standard. He also a member of Kuala Lumpur FP&A Board which is not-for-profit and was established with the aim to recognise and promote best practices in modern financial planning and analytics.

Farid is also an Exco for Alumni UiTM Business Network. The movement 
efforts to establish a network business among UiTM university alumni.

Apart of that, Farid also is a certified ACCA tutor and used to contribute articles to ACCA Career website. Farid also provide training to SMEs with regards to Finance & Accounting Management.
